A SCENE from the Wild, Wild West.
That is how witnesses of the gunplay that occurred in Westbury Cemetery yesterday described the incident.
Around 9:06 a.m, Sanitation Service Authority (SSA) workers panicked and scampered about in fear for their lives when two gunmen entered the cemetery from Westbury Road and opened fire while running towards Thomas Gap and onto President Kennedy Drive.
The traumatised workers said they saw an armed man running away from another, who chased him with two guns.
One woman said she ran into the office behind the chapel where she immediately fell to the floor, adding that she saw the men ducking and leaping across graves like cowboys in a movie scene.
