FORMER West Indies player Philo Wallace can talk all he wants but newly appointed West Indies Test captain Jason Holder has the full backing of his manager and  the players.
Wallace raised more than a few eyebrows earlier this week when he said that giving Holder the captaincy at his age is too much.
At 23 years, 323 days, Holder is the second youngest player to be tasked with leading the West Indies Test team. Trinidadian George Grant was the youngest West Indies captain as he was 23 years and 217 days.
However, West Indies team manager Sir Richie Richardson – a former Windies captain – says that Holder has all the attributes of a very good leader and he is confident that he will do a very good job.
