POLICE SAY THEY ARE WORKING on a plan to reduce violence among secondary schoolchildren following last week’s rock attacks on moving buses.
The stone throwing, along with several videos posted recently on social media showing children engaged in violent and sexual activities, has led to concern among police officers, Roland Cobbler, the force’s acting public relations officer, told the SUNDAY SUN yesterday.
Two buses were damaged by rival students on consecutive days last week as they bypassed each other at Fairview, Christ Church. One child was also injured.
The dispute was said to have started during the first week of school with the children throwing water bombs, initially, at each other on the buses.
