ANDERSON “TOOTSIE” EMMANUEL is a man on a mission.

The boxer shot to national acclaim when he won a bronze medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. However, legal problems the following year curtailed his blossoming amateur career.

On Saturday night, the Barbados Boxing Association staged a card and Emmanuel was the main event.

Though overweight, he was still at his lethal best in his superheavyweight bout with Anthony Severin of Antigua and Barbuda.
