THE SALVATION ARMY will be making US$15 000 available to help the suffering people of Dominica.

In a recent Press release, divisional commander Major Sinous Theodore said a team of Salvation Army Officers from the Barbados division would be returning  to Dominica to assist in relief efforts in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Erika.

The funds are being sourced from The Salvation Army’s International Headquarters and are to be spent over a three month period on basic food items, school material and clothing.

These items will be purchased in Dominica and afterwards the programme will be reviewed in an effort to determine if it needs to continue. (CA)
