PM Skerrit coming for concert and to say thanks to all

DOMINICA’S PRIME MINISTER Roosevelt Skerrit will be in attendance at this evening’s One Caribbean Concert For The Children Of Dominica being held at Kensington Oval.

This was confirmed yesterday by Opposition Leader Mia Mottley, who said Skerritt wanted to come in person to thank Barbadians for their continued generosity to his country since Tropical Storm Erika devastated it on August 27.

Mottley, who gave impetus to the idea for the concert and the Dominica Children’s Fund, said yesterday that the response of Barbadians to Dominica made her more proud than ever to be a Bajan.

“Though Barbadians are going through difficult times they have been still prepared to give unselfishly, and this reflects the ultimate generosity . . . .
