A 15-YEAR-OLD boy was granted bail today when he appeared in the District “C” Magistrates’ Court charged with criminal damage and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He was arrested in connection with the September 23 stone-throwing incident in which a student was struck in his face whilst aboard a school bus at Fairview Road, Christ Church.
He will return to court on November 25.
Meanwhile, three girls appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court to answer a charge of occasioning actual bodily harm.
The charge stems from video which showed a group of school girls fighting in the Fairchild Street Bus Terminal.
Two of the girls were remanded to the Government Industrial School while the other one was granted bail. The trio will appear in Juvenile Court on Wednesday. (PR/NB)
