HAYDEN WALSH turned in a heroic all-round performance to steer Flow to a rousing victory over ESAF Pickwick at the Foursquare Oval yesterday to maintain their joint hold on the lead in Zone B of the Sagicor Super Cup yesterday.
Determined that his five wickets for 35 runs would not go to waste, the 23-year-old Leeward Islands player shepherded Flow past the 180 made by Pickwick; finishing 73 not out after coming to the wicket with the visitors floundering on 73 for five.
The leg-spinner, who bats left-handed, shared in a match-defining 65-run seventh-wicket stand with Grenadian Ryan John before he and fast bowler Miguel Cummins completed the chase with nine deliveries to spare.
