Man dies from stab wounds

POLICE ARE CONDUCTING INVESTIGATIONS into the unnatural death of an unidentified male in his late thirties which occurred sometime just after 10 p.m. along Nursery Drive, St Michael in the vicinity of the John Beckles Day Nursery.

Preliminary investigations suggest the deceased was involved in an altercation with three men and received multiple stab wounds to his back. He died on the scene.

Anyone who may have witnessed or can provide information to assist with the identification of the deceased or with these investigations is asked to contact the Police Emergency at telephone number ‘211’, Criminal Investigations Department at 4307189, the nearest police station or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477).
