THE MAN WHO WAS shot yesterday evening at Jackson, St Michael has been identified.
He is 36-year-old St Andrew resident Andy Lynch, who received two gunshot wounds to the lower abdomen around 4 p.m.
According to a police release, preliminary investigations revealed Lynch was visiting relatives in the Jackson area when he became involved in an altercation with two men.
He was shot by one of the men and rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by a private vehicle. He is being treated for his injuries.
