St James South win in Constituency Council Football

THE RAINS HELD UP enough on Friday night to allow St James South to record a 2-1 victory over St Philip North at Hilda Skeene in a first round match of the David Thompson Memorial Constituency Councils Football Classic.

In the opening match at Hilda Skeene, St Philip South and Christ Church East drew 1-1.

Over at Porey Spring, St Michael Central defeated Christ Church South 4-2 while St Andrew defeated hosts St Thomas 2-0. (PG)
