Lorene steps out in faith

A Barbadian, Christian, black woman in a small Bosnian town of fair-skinned Muslims, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through acts of mercy and goodwill.

An anomaly, some may say, but a reality of life for Lorene Goodman who, responding to a vision she had, sold her worldly possessions and headed for the war-ravaged country of Bosnia in south-eastern Europe to work as a missionary.

Everyone thought she was crazy when she made the announcement, but the woman of faith said, “God told me sell everything and I started having yard sales, and I started raising support for my mission.”
