Shirley biscuits go international

BARBADOS’ MOST POPULAR biscuits – Shirley, Tea Time, Eclipse and Sodabix – can now be bought from several stores across the world.

The biscuits, made by Barbados’ longest operating bakery, West India Biscuit Company Ltd. (WIBISCO), are among the company’s popular products that can be had at international stores such as Walmart, Publix and Tesco.

And soon they will be on shelves in Cuba and Panama.

This was revealed by general manager Adrian Padmore yesterday when Wibisco celebrated its 105th anniversary with a church service at Whitepark Wesleyan Holiness Church.
