Excited over new home

FOR ALMOST 35 years Tracia Lorde’s place of abode has been the Thelma Vaughan Home in the Glebe, St George.

But last Friday that changed when the differently abled 41-year-old was presented with the keys to her own home.

“I feel good, excited and I am glad,” she said at the presentation.

The presentation, held at the Thelma Vaughan Home, was made compliments of Global Resources and Support Management (GRSM), which is based at Lemon Arbour, St John. GRSM is an international human service agency that provides support to adults with intellectual and developmental problems.

They have promised to support people with residential placement in Barbados.
