GALLE – West Indies finished the second day of the first Test against Sri Lanka on 66 for 2 in response to the hosts’ 484 all out.

Openers Kraigg Brathwaite and Shai Hope fell to Rangana Herath for 19 and 23, respectively.

At stumps Darren Bravo was unbeaten on 15 while Marlon Samuels had made seven.

Earlier in the day it seemed Sri Lanka would make a total in excess of 500 but West Indies grabbed the last seven wickets for a mere 59 runs. (NB)
