Andromeda ‘the spot’ for business

THE ANDROMEDA GALLERY LOUNGE is proving to be a lucrative spot for some entrepreneurs.

General manager of the nearly two-year-old facility Judith Harrison said a few of the artists who rented space in the gallery reported it was the most profitable spot on the island for them.

“They make more money in this little gallery in St Joseph than they do in any of the other stores in Barbados,” Harrison said.

Speaking at the official opening of the gallery and café yesterday afternoon, Harrison said artists receive all the proceeds from the sale of their goods.
