Coleridge and Parry stands out

THE BEACON on the hill invaded the National Independence of Creative Arts (NIFCA) on Sunday night.

It was the last semi-final for the season, but it could easily have been the Coleridge and Parry School in concert.

Of the 14 musical pieces on show, seven of them were from individuals, the school chorus or the vocal girl group.

Fortunately for the paying patrons, all of them were good, and it did not feel like overkill. And the good news for the St Peter school and their supporters is that a place for them at the October 30 Sagicor Performing Arts Finals For Juniors  at Frank Collymore Hall is certain. The question  is how many will advance.
