HUNDREDS OF BARBADIANS turned up at the Savannah Beach Hotel today in search of job opportunities.
The job fair was organised by Standard Distribution & Sales. With open posts at various levels the Human Resources manager in the retail sector of parent company ANSA mcAL, Alexia Halliday said that some of the potential employees would have permanent posts eventually.
“A quick way to access a number of persons was via the job fair and then we figured we could see what qualifications they possess via the application form” she explained.
She told NATION ONLINE the response was overwhelming as they had 250 applicants by the time they started. (MR)
