THE VAUXHALL SENIOR Citizens Village opened its doors to the public including students from the surrounding schools today.

The open day, a component of the REACH Programme undertaken by final year social work student Melissa Walcott, sought to bridge the gap between the young people and the elderly.

The seniors benefited from haircuts and shaves, nail polish changes, health checks and a fire safety lecture by the Barbados Fire Service. (LK)
