THE TRANSPORT AUTHORITY Service Integration (TASI) is only a decoy to get all the Public Service Vehicle (PSV) operators under the Transport Authority and the act which governs it.

This is the claim of PSV operator Roger Hercules, who issued a warning to the PSV operators to be very careful of changes that are coming.

Hercules’ further warned the seven PSV operators who are about to participate in the TASI pilot project.

“Be extremely careful what you sign with these people . . . . It is not just a project; it is movement away from one act to another, it is the movement away from the rights you had under one act to limited rights under another act,” he said.

Speaking to the WEEKEND NATION, Hercules said PSVs were governed by the Road Traffic Act, not the Transport Authority Act and the integration was not legal.  (LK)
