BARBADOS HAS TAKEN a huge step in cementing its position as a top luxury tourist destination with the addition of JetBlue airline’s award winning premium Mint service.
“It’s the first time we’re ever going to have a lie-flat bed service out of the USA. I think it’s actually a revolutionary initiative,” said director of the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. (BTMI) United States office Petra Roach as she spoke during the launch of JetBlue’s inaugural Mint service flights from New York at the Grantley Adams International Airport yesterday.
The Mint service is a special premium service offered by the budget airline, that includes lie-flat flights seating, complimentary Wi-Fi, DirecTV and a complimentary wine service on the five-hour direct flight.
