BARBADOS PRIDE stumbled against Jamaica Scorpions but the home team still held the advantage at stumps on the second day of their WICB PCL regional four-day match at Kensington Oval yesterday.
After restricting the Pride, who resumed on an imposing 262 for two, to 373, the visitors, thanks to fighting knocks of 51 not out and 49 from Kirk Edwards and John Campbell, respectively, fought their way to 114 for two to trail by 259 runs with eight first innings wickets intact.
Kraigg Brathwaite, the host captain, took his overnight 111 to 119 before edging pacer Jason Dawes behind to give the pacer the second of three wickets yesterday.
