LOCAL PLAYERS raised their game to claim one of three titles and also reach the final in another on the first day of the Harrows Barbados Darts Festival at Solidarity House Saturday night.

In the Frito Lay Mixed Triples, the returning Winston Cadogan was the heavy consistent scorer, keeping the Barbados team of Shelley Taylor and Hank Ebanks in the legs – especially in their exciting semi-final clash with Peter Bradley, Claire Bradley and Kevin Guy.

In the final, they faced the 2014 title holders Peter Ward, John Downs and Shereen Downs and it was a maximum from John Downs that set up their team securing the first leg. (PR/EZS)
