Earthquake between Barbados and St Vincent

THE UNIVERSITY OF the West Indies Seismic Research Centre has recorded an earthquake between Barbados and St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The latest, a 4.1 magnitude quake, took place at 8:18 this morning.

It was located 86 kilometres to the west-southwest of Bridgetown an 98 kilometres east-southeast of Kingstown, at Lattitude 12.94N and Longitude 60.37W.

The quake was at a depth of ten kilometres and there are reports that it was felt in St Vincent.  (NB)
