POLICE AND PARAMEDICS are currently on the scene of a serious accident at the corner of Brighton Hill and Spring Garden, St Michael.
Reports are that a car being driven by an elderly man was involved in a collision with a taxi.
As police jeeps blocked the Brighton Hill road and traffic crawled to snail’s pace on Spring Garden, members of the Barbados Fire Service were forced to use the Jaws of Life to free the elderly man and his elderly passenger who were trapped in the front seats.
The driver of the taxi was reportedly injured and also being treated. (AD)
