The young ladies in the fitness categories ignited the oohs, ahs and wows of the audience with their ability to twist, twirl and bend their bodies in the Miss School Body Fitness Championships at the Lester Vaughan Secondary School on Friday night.
The girls had to pull out the stops and showed they were capable of splits, one-handed flips and other tricks.
One of those who impressed was Adeya Brewster of Alexandra Secondary, who emerged champion in the Upper Junior Girls (12-15) fitness category.
