Put health before sex, says cancer survivor

Rawle Browne is living proof that being diagnosed with prostate cancer is not a death sentence. He was diagnosed with the illness in 2008 at 56 years old.

Today, seven years later, this retiree reflects that he has always been on top of his health because of his family’s history.

Browne, who lived in the United States for 41 years, said cancer was prevalent on his father’s side of the family. His father, two uncles and grandfather had all died from prostate cancer.

That is what pushed him to get regular PSA and blood tests.
