INDIANO JONES, under a superb ride by jockey Shane Collymore, delivered in grand style yesterday at the Garrison Savannah for his owner Lewin Godding and new trainer Anderson Ward on the inaugural Ansa Mcal Racing Festival.

The five-year-old dark bay gelding scored a minor upset in the featured Grade I Ansa Mcal Barbados Stakes And Trophy over 1 570 metres worth $99 300. It was the biggest win for Collymore in his career and a double strike in the features for trainer Anderson Ward, who also scored with Pay As You Go.

It was a sensational performance by Indiano Jones, the son of A.P Indy out of Sharp Susan, who not only ran one-fifth of a second outside the track record of 1:33.2 but had in his wake hot favourites Shared Adventure and Sirius Black.
