BARBADIAN DR BARRY WARD is one step closer to becoming a master in public health care.
Today at the Errol Waldrond Building, Jemmotts Lane, St Michael, he was awarded $5 000 as recipient of the Arnott Cato Foundation/City of Bridgetown Co-operative Credit Union Ltd (COB) Scholarship.
The funds will assist Ward pay tuition costs to complete the one year intensive Masters in Public Health (MPH) programme at the University of the West Indies.
Ward, who is attached to the Winston Scott Polyclinic, thanked the foundation and said the scholarship and programme would assist him in his duties. (TSG)
