ST LEONARD’S BOYS footballers are the undisputed kings of local school football.
The Richmond Gap boys added the Coca Cola Barbados Secondary School Football League Knockout title to their recently claimed league crown after winning yesterday’s final at the Barbados Football Association (BFA) Wildey AstroTurf.
St Leonard’s came from a goal down to defeat Christ Church Foundation Secondary School 3-1 in a highly entertaining display of football.
After a goalless first half, Foundation opened the scoring three minutes after the break, thanks to some fine work inside the area by midfielder Antone Greaves, who weaved by a couple of defenders and the custodian to give Shaquon Waldron the easiest of goals to convert from eight yards. (ROG)
