THE EARLY HOURS OF the morning and evenings have become very uncomfortable for some Arch Hall, St Thomas residents.
And they are attributing the blame for a smell enveloping the district to sewage being dumped at the Mangrove Landfill located upwind.
Gary Browne and Javal Lewis said they have felt dizzy and light-headed, while Mary Armstrong said her epileptic son had three seizures last Wednesday, and developed a cough since the smell started about three weeks ago.
Browne said early in the morning the scent was bad, it then abated for a while, but from about 4 p.m. sewage trucks could be seen at the top of the hill depositing a liquid substance.
