PEDESTRIANS UTILISING THE Spring Garden Highway can finally breathe a sigh of relief as traffic lights have been erected obliquely opposite Weiser’s on the Bay.

When a NATION ONLINE team visited the area today, workers from the Ministry of Transport and Works were busy erecting the poles and lights.

In September Minister of Transport and Works, Michael Lashley, announced a plan for the erection of traffic lights and a zebra crossing since a number of fatal accidents occurred on the stretch in the past. (RA)
