A MALE VISITOR who fell off the cliffs at the Animal Flower Cave was this evening rescued by an emergency response team.

The visitor, whose identity is unknown at the time, was said to be part of a group that went rock climbing near the St Lucy attraction.

He fell onto a ledge and a team from the Barbados Fire Service was dispatched to the scene. It comprised one water tender and one rescue tender.

The visitor was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.

Unconfirmed reports say the group arrived via cruise ship. (BN)
