WE WANT DRINKS!
It seems the whole of Barbados is taking up this popular King Bubba and Li’l Rick refrain as they flock to wholesalers to get their fill of consumable beverages for the Christmas season.
At the Banks wholesale department in Newton, Christ Church, cases upon cases of drinks – both alcoholic and non-alcoholic – were being loaded into cars as and people lined up to get their orders.
Kemar Knight and Omar Callender said buying drinks for the holidays was “standard”.
