VISITORS AT THE Tamarind Hotel in St James got a slice of Barbadian culture yesterday as their lunchtime was transformed into a market day.
While some were busy feasting on Bajan fare, the Pompasetters tuk band kicked off the entertainment with a number of Christmas songs and interacted with the crowd.
As the visitors sauntered around the hotel’s swimming pool, they were joined by Dancing Africa dancers, a shaggy bear and crowd favourites Mother Sally and stilt walkers Shane and Dana. (AD)
