A BAY STREET, St Michael service station had to undergo repairs after an SUV ran off the road and crashed into its convenience store.

A Press release from Sol Barbados said no one was injured in the crash which occurred at 11 p.m. yesterday.

However, the accident was bad enough to temporarily suspend all operations.

Today staff was busy sweeping glass, mopping and trying to regain a state of normalcy after the incident which caught them by surprise.

The release stated: “The Sol Team and the management at Sol Banyans are working with the relevant service providers to restore the site to its full operations. Service to customers at the pump has resumed. It is expected however that the store will be reopened by 3 p.m. [today].”
