IT WAS supposed to be a close fight but it turned out to be a slaughter.

Rendezvous showed no mercy as they  thrashed Clayton’s Kola Tonic Notre Dame 4-0 in a one-sided encounter on Sunday night when  the Digicel Premier League continued at the Barbados Football Association’s Wildey AstroTurf.

Shandel Samuel and Romano Snagg scored a brace each for last season’s runners-up. Samuel opened the scoring in the 5th minute while he scored his second in the 58th. Snagg’s goals came in the 26th and 58th minutes.
