A ST JAMES resident was left shaken after experiencing what she claimed was an inappropriate police search last week.

The owner of a 1st Avenue, Sion Hill home, who preferred anonymity, told the weekend NATION that nine policemen attached to the Tactical  Response Unit barged into her residence around  3 a.m. last Friday, leaving trails of mud on the floor, clothes and even a bed.

She said she was not presented with a search warrant during the drug-related investigation.

She added that the warrant was shown to her  22-year-old son in his bedroom but she believed she should have seen it as the owner of the house.
