HISTORY WAS CREATED once again in Barbados this evening with the installation of the American Guild of Organists Barbados Chapter.

It is the first of its kind in the Eastern Caribbean.

Dean Julian Bowen said he expected to see a lot of musical work being done on the organisation’s part as they sought to fulfil their mandate of enriching lives through organ and choral music.

The Right Reverend Dr Rufus Brome, chaplain of the guild, in his address of the homily, encouraged the chosen leaders to “be faithful stewards so everything that moves through you might have breath”.  (RA)
