CODRINGTON COLLEGE MAY be best known as a bastion of Christian education but yesterday it opened its doors to those of the Islamic faith.

The St John-based theological college hosted members of the Barbados Muslim Association, who came bearing gifts of three park benches to be used at the facility. The Muslims also presented a lecture on Spiritual Tradition In Islam by East African Islamic scholar Shaykf Faid Muhammad Said.

He pointed out that many visitors and Barbadians alike visited the college’s serene scenic grounds and so he hoped the gifts would help to enhance the ambience.
