ST VINCENT and the Grenadines Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves has criticised the slow pace at which the Caribbean is dealing with changes in the marijuana industry.

Gonsalves gave the warning during a special public lecture Monday night at the Errol Barrow Centre For Creative Imagination, University of the West Indies (UWI) Cave Hill.

The lecture on the theme, The Faculty Of Social Sciences At Cave Hill And 40 Years Of Caribbean Economic, Social And Political Development – A Critical Appraisal, was part of a week of activities marking the 40th anniversary of the faculty.
