BARBADIANS AT HOME and abroad will have a chance to contribute to the enhancement of the outstanding universal value of Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison, come tomorrow, Wednesday, February 3.
That is when Prime Minister Freundel Stuart will officially launch the Barbados at 50 National Monument Design Competition, at the Main Guard, Garrison, St Michael, at 10 a.m.
An official associated with the project said that the occasion is expected to provide “an exceptional opportunity for design expressions which capture the journey of Independence”.
The officer added that the project would also allow present and aspiring architects, landscape designers, sculptors and artists to showcase their ability. (BGIS)
