A DELEGATION FROM the National Union of Public Workers, led by general secretary Roslyn Smith, is currently at the Grantley Adams International Airport to meet with management with the hopes of solving a dispute over a 3.5 per cent increase for 2011.

The differences between the two sides saw about 200 workers staging a near four-hour protest in the car park last Friday.

Both sides are holding firm to their positions and even though Minister of International Transport, Richard Sealy, has offered to sit down with the two parties he has already stated that he holds the same view of management that the worker are not owed any monies. (YB)
