A ST MICHAEL MAN is scheduled to appear in court today, charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition.
On Sunday Police arrested Ricardo Jamar Norville, 26 years, of School Lane, Halls Road and charged him with unlawful possession of a firearm and illegal possession of ammunition.
According to a police release, members of the Tactical Response Unit were on mobile patrol at Cavans Lane, St Michael around 2:10 a.m. where a street search was carried out on Norville. A firearm with six rounds of ammunition was found and he was detained.
Norville is expected to appear at the District A Magistrates Court today. (PR/SAT)
