On the day of love, cricket fans from Kingston to Bridgetown to Georgetown showered the West Indies team with adoration after they crowned themselves in glory by winning the ICC Under-19 World Cup for the first time.
Underdogs West Indies beat heavy favourites India by five wickets with three balls to spare in a tense final at the Shere Bangla Stadium in Bangladesh that had thousands of Caribbean fans glued to their television sets in the dying stages.
