THE IMPORTANCE OF READING was impressed upon the students of the St Martin’s Mangrove Primary School all week long when they held their annual Reading Week Activities.

The theme was Reading Is The Gateway To Knowledge and the students engaged in a variety of exercises, including a Drop Everything and Read Session, a book exchange and book fair.

The activities ended yesterday with a book launch and presentation. The students also paraded through the school bearing banners depicting the themes their classes used during Reading Week. (LK)
