Bees hit Govt for 50th ‘bias’

BARBADOS Labour Party (BLP) supporters are accusing the Government of deliberately downplaying the contributions of BLP administrations as the country celebrates its 50th anniversary of Independence.

At a meeting at The St Michael School on Sunday night, supporters spoke heatedly about the “slight” and demanded that the party leadership mount a vigorous defence.

They also pointed to the silence of the party on this and a number of other issues, with one supporter saying the BLP appeared to be distracted by infighting.

Caretaker for the St Michael South Central constituency, David Gill, said some of the messages were misleading.
