FOR MOST OF THEIR Group A ICC World Twenty20 2016 clash against Bangladesh in Dharamsala on Wednesday, Netherlands looked set to pull off a big upset.
Bangladesh, though, kept their nerve when it mattered and got out of jail to start their campaign with a thrilling eight-run win at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium.
The win was made possible by an unbeaten 58-ball 83 from Tamim Iqbal that was followed by a combined effort from the bowlers.
Netherlands opted to field first and did well to restrict Bangladesh to 153 for seven, but lacked firepower in their batting, managing only 145 for seven. (ICC)
