Trinidad and Tobago Red Force skipper Jason Mohammed was expecting a tough test against the Barbados Pride, and that is exactly what they got on the first day of their Professional Cricket League four-day match yesterday.

Kraigg Brathwaite banged his third century this season to put the Bajans on top.

The West Indies Test opener was unbeaten on 105 as the Pride closed the day on 220 for twoat the National Cricket Centre, Balmain, Couva.

Barbados Pride dominated throughout the day with Brathwaite and Shai Hope killing off any momentum the Red Force were hoping to build when they struck on the stroke of lunch to deny Omar Phillips his second half-century of the season.
