RANDY HARRIS will remain as president of the Barbados Football Association (BFA).

Earlier today during the general meeting at Solidarity House, Harris defeated challenger Fabian Wharton 87-46 to secure another term in office.

The 57-year-old has been president since 2012.

Wharton manages Brittons Hill Club and was looking to unseat Harris, stating he would adopt a more business-like approach to management of the BFA.

The executive now comprises Harris, senior vice president Al Walcott, junior vice president Ashton Chapman, senior assistant secretary Barney Callender, junior assistant secretary Neil Matthews; Nicole Puckerin, treasurer and Adrian Donovan, assistant treasurer.

The executive members are Junior Allsopp, Thomas Jordan and Gregory Thompson who have been joined by Mark Gittens and Roland Butcher. (BN)
